I had dinner here 2night but I have been eating here since I was a kid 4 as long as I can remember
Had the worst pizza ever the whole center was soggy and raw. Was told the lady owner was present she offered a poor excuse and said mushrooms do that sometimes. Never offered a refund or discount for next visit. Been eating Park plaza pizza for over 30 year's I told the owner I will never have a Park plaza pizza ever again. No response from her, the number one pizza in Beaver Dam was Quartinas. It was a sad day when they closed.
I have not had the pleasure of dining here yet but, have had the pleasure of trying their frozen pizzas. Hands down best frozen pizza I've ever had in my life!!!!!! And I've ate a lot of frozen pizzas in my day. The sauce is amazing and don't even get me started on the sweet yet spicy smoky flavored pepperoni that has that snap when you bite into it. Pure bliss! I have a friend that lives in Beaver Dam and I think I will be visiting him much sooner than expected but, really I am coming for the pizza. A1
While the food here is excellent and the prices are just as reasonable as any other restaurant here in Beaver Dam, I do have to say that I'm thoroughly disappointed with the customer service I received over the phone and the fact that we waited 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES for our food to be delivered. 80 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers and 1 order of fries. I understand that Saturday nights are BUSY having been a bartender, server and former fast food manager at various points in my life, HOWEVER some kind of indication of the wait time would have been appreciated. At the one hour mark I called the restaurant to ask how much longer we could expect to wait. The gal on the phone was shouting to the kitchen (and into my ear) to find out whether or not the order had left the restaurant and told me it had left several minutes before I called. After I thanked her for her assistance I got a "yep, bye" and a hangup before I could say anything else. ANOTHER 20 MINUTES PASSED BEFORE OUR FOOD ARRIVED.
I can't say enough about the food- it's delicious, but this isn't the first time I've received terrible service and waited a very long time for my food. I don't think we'll be returning any time soon.
Soggy pizza. Sauce is excellent, but why is the pie so damn chewy? And, ever hear of a MEAL? Prices are a bit exaggerated given the fact your burger does not come with fries. Even McDonald's understands this simple concept! A burger gone in 2 bites and you need to spend almost equal amount for fries? Otherwise, great sauce.
